In the civil society space, project management is often the lifeline of the activities an organization is involved in. It is therefore important for all staff and stakeholders to have a deep understanding of project management concepts, processes and how project reporting is done. The National Environment Civil Society Alliance of Kenya (NECSA-K) periodically carries out Organizational Development workshops for its members in order to impart the necessary skills and knowledge required to improve their efficiency. In the latest workshop, this e-handbook, prepared and presented by Alex Maina of CISSTA Kenya, was used to train members on the principles of project management to ensure that organizations have the capacity to control all the moving parts of projects to guarantee success and are completed on time to achieve set goals and objectives. This handbook also teaches enthusiasts on how to use Gantt Charts to report their projects, the structure of project reports and fundamentals of good report writing.
